Feb 21^st

A Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held on Tuesday, Feb 21^st, from 4:30-6pm at the Christ Church Anglican Trinity Hall, Armstrong Street entrance. Cost for adults is $6, under 12 $3, and a family is $16. Pancakes, sausages, beans and pies. All you can eat!

Feb 21^st

Stella Maris Hall in Blacks Harbour will be having a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 21^st from 4-6pm. Regular and potato pancakes, sausages, beans, and cakes. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for students, and $4 for kids under 12. Take outs are available. For more information call 755-6873.

Feb 24th
Monthly movies are being shown at the new Dunn Science Theatre in St. Andrews. A fundraiser to benefit the Vincent Massey Elementary School. Children under 12 must have a chaperone. Admission is $6 per person, $3 for children 4 and under. $20 for a family of 4. The February Movie is HUGO rated PG. Playing Friday, Feb 24th at 7pm.

Feb 25th
Learn how to download library books to your electronic devices, such as Sony Reader, Ipad, Kobo, Free workshop at the St. Croix Public Library available 2 different days. Saturday, Feb 25th from 2-3:30, or Tuesday Feb 28th from 6-7:30pm. Pre-registration is required by visiting the library, or call 466-7529.

There will be a Pool Tournament held on Saturday, Feb 25^th. Register at 12:30, play pool by 1pm. Cost is $20 per person, partners drawn from a hat. Winning team will get a prize. Proceeds going to St. Croix Vocational Centre. For more information call Jim Maxwell at 466-1798.

The Family Resource Center is hosting it's 5^th annual Scrapbooking Crop on Saturday, February 25^th, from 9-5 at the Oak Bay Hall. $25 per person with breaks and lunch included. For more information call 465-8181.

There will be a benefit for Gerry Tozer at the St. Patrick's Hall in Milltown on Saturday, Feb 25th, from 2-4pm. Entertainment and refreshments. For more information call Joe McMahon at 466-4566.

World Day of Prayer will be held at the St. George Catholic Church on Sunday, Feb 26th, at 2pm. All denominations are welcome.

There will be a spaghetti feed at the Upper Mills Church on Saturday, Feb 26th, beginning at 4pm. Pies for dessert. Proceeds go to the upkeep of the church. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12. For more information call 466-4599.

March 2nd
World Day of Prayer will be held at the Kirk McColl United Church in St. Stephen on Friday, March 2nd at 2pm. All are welcome.

Mar 11th
The St. George Catholic Church is holding an evening of gospel music, on Sunday, March 11th, at 6:30pm. Performing are Sandi Leland and Tyler Deveau, The Higgins Sisters, Alan Brisley and more. Admission is a free will offering. Proceeds going to the church.
